Skill type: Collecting

Effect of puting points on the skill: Raise the items' drop rate and allow you to mini different types of ores.

Items you get:

Crystal Ore - Found on Ascaron (Silver Mine) and on Pirate Hideout. Can be used on Midle-level Commence Pass quests. Is stocked on your inventory in stacks of 20 max.
Energy Ore - Found on Magical Ocean. Can be used on High-level Commence Pass quests. Is stocked on your inventory in stacks of 20 max.
Iron Ore - Found on Deep Blue. Can be used on Low-level Commence Pass quests. Is stocked on your inventory in stacks of 20 max.

Requirements:

Level 10 A Pickaxe To mine Iron Ore: lvl 1 Mining To mine Crystal Ore: lvl 1 Mining To mine Stone Ore: lvl 1 Mining (?) To mine Mateorite: lvl 5 Mining Pickaxes types: Pickxe - Normal pickaxe that can be bought from a Blacksmith NPC Gold Pickaxe - Special pickaxe that can only be bought from Item Mall for 49 points. Doubles the ore drop rate. Aloy Pickaxe - Special pickaxe that can not be repaired nor traded. Can be either bought from Item Mall for 29 points or gotten as a reward of a quest named "Language Barrier". Is used to mine Meteorites. (click here to know more about Language Barrier quest) Blacksmith Locations: [Ascaron] Blacksmith - Goldie -------> 2193, 2706 [Deep Blue] Blacksmith - Bash -------> 1344, 529 [Magical Ocean] Blacksmith - Smithy -------> 902, 3495 Mining areas: [Ascaron - Silver Mine] Safe: No (many agressive monsters around. On Silver Mine lvl 1 - lvl 31 Vampire Bat, 35 Mine Mole & lvl 36 Mud Monter) Ores: Many ores, usualy in groupes of 2-3, all over the mine Locations: 1872,2624 | 1804,2757 [Deep Blue] Safe: Most of the spots are safe. Just be carefull with agressive lvl 24 Snow Wolf (around 965,775), lvl 26 Armored Crab (around 994,857) & 28 Snow Spirit (around 1060,805) Ores: Many ores, usualy in groups of 2-3, all over the south-west area of Deep Blue (about south of Atlantis Haven) Locations: 839,712 | 882,743 | 855,779 | 892,833 | 970,922 [Magical Ocean - Barren Cavern] Safe: No (many agressive high level monsters around - such as lvl 70 Terra Artificer) Ores: Many ores, usualy in groupes of 2-3, all over the cavern Locations: 1369,3085 | 1305,3187 | 1360,3213 | 1409,3212 | 1450,3111 [Treasure Gulf - Pirate Hideout] (click here to learn how to get there) Safe: Yes (there are no monsters on the isle) Ores: Many oress, relatively close to each other, all over the isle Locations: All over the isle (I'll get coords soon) Using Mining skill: Ores are shown on you mini-map as orange dots: With a Pickaxe equiped, simply click on the Ores (Crystal, Iron or Stone). You will get no system message, but you will see the items droping: You get the item Crystal Ore from "rocks" also named Crystal Ores: You get the item Energy Ore from "rocks" named Stone Ores: You get the item Iron Ore from "rocks" also named Iron Ores: Special Mining! - Meteorites: Mining Meteorites can be considered a special mining, since you get many different items. As mentioned before, you need an Aloy Pickaxe to mine them. You also need lvl 5 Mining. Items you get: Mayday Pass - Theoricaly you should be able to gef a gift from a GM when handing him/her this Pass. But it had been never done before on TOP (as far as I know), so I don't have much info about it. Is stored on your inventory in stacks of 99 max. Dark Wishing Stone - Can be used to obtain a random item (double click to use) - you can get item like juices, fruits, firecrakers, equips, etc. Is stored on your inventory in stacks of 99 max. Can also be used to create a Sparkling Wishing Stone. It is stored on your inventory, in stacks of 99 max. Welding Catalyst - Can be used to create a Sparkling Wishing Stone. It is stored on your inventory, in stacks of 99 max. Sparkling Wishing Stone - You can get it by combining 5 Dark Wishing Stones and 1 Welding Catalyst. It can be used to get random items (double click to use) - you can get the same items as when using the Dark Wishing Stone, plus gems and unsealed equips. It is stored on your inventory, in stacks of 99 max. Meteorite Areas: [Ascaron] Safe: Yes Locations: 2044, 2727 | 2053, 2668 | 2090, 2685 | 2111, 2764 | 2137, 2614 | 2182, 2554 [Deep Blue] Safe: No (agressive lvl 30 Combat Piglet around) Locations: 1410, 560 [Magical Ocean] Safe: Yes Locations: 983, 3499 | 1003, 3445 | 1096, 3472 Getting Sparkling Wishing Stone: Talk to the NPC "Redemption - Bingo", at 2231, 2715 (Aacaron - Argent City). Choose the option "Combine Wishing Stone". She will ask you 5 Dark Wishing Stones and 1 Welding Catalyst. Choose "Confirm to combine" and you will get 1 Sparkling Wishing Stone.
